StorCase products and drives must be returned in StorCase
approved packaging, or original StorCase packaging when possible.
Acceptable Packaging
Drives:
Enclose each drive in an ESD bag and seal. If possible, use
a wrist ground strap at all times and handle the drive carefully
as you would a "good" drive.
Products:
Be sure each product is packaged to prevent shipping damage.
Unacceptable Packaging
Do not use bubble wrap, styrofoam peanuts, paper, padded
shipping envelopes or non-approved plastic.
 
IMPORTANT
Any
shipment received without a Return Material Authorization
will be returned to you at your expense.
Failure to comply with the above packaging requirements will
cause your warranty to be voided.
Returning a StorCase
product or drive:
1. Place the "properly packaged product" in a cardboard
box. Surround each packaged product with thick foam rubber
to prevent damage during shipping.
2. Clearly write all shipping information and the RMA number
on the outside of each package being returned. Please place
shipping labels on outside of carton (if provided).
3. Be sure to enclose the shipping invoice(s) in each package.
4. Include a brief description of the problem.
Note: Multiple RMA's may be shipped in one container provided
that each product is individually packaged and each package
is clearly identified with the appropriate RMA number. All
RMA numbers must be present on the outside of each shipping
carton.
