Firmware
Updates and Driver Downloads
If you need to download the latest Firmware revisions or a particular driver, you've come to the right place. We have all of our latest Firmware updates and drivers right here, listed below.
To download, click on the desired file link located at the bottom of this page.
To update SAF-TE Board Firmware:
(Most Users)
- Exit and close ALL programs before installing the Firmware Loader onto your computer system.
- Click on the appropriate SAF-TE Board Firmware Update link (make sure you are downloading the correct update for your specific StorCase product!).
- Choose 'Save this program to disk' and click OK. Create a directory (e.g. C:\FWLOADER) and save the file.
- Once download is complete, click 'Open'. An Installation Wizard should now take you through the Firmware Loader installation process.*
- Once the installation is complete, run FWLOADER.exe. The FWLoader.exe Window should now appear on your screen.
- Click on 'Update' to update Firmware.
*If the Installation Wizard experiences problems with installing the Firmware Loader onto your computer system, you will have to manually install the Loader as directed below.
- Create a directory (e.g. C:\FWLOADER).
- Click on the appropriate FWLOADER.zip file link to start download (make sure you are downloading the correct update for your specific StorCase product!).
- Once download is complete, unzip the entire archive into the newly-created directory.
- Run FWLOADER.exe. The FWLoader.exe window should now appear on your screen.
- Click on 'Update' to update Firmware.
To update InfoStation UI Module Firmware:
(Most Users)
- Power OFF the InfoStation enclosure.
- Disconnect the serial cable from the InfoStation enclosure.
- Reboot the computer that will be used to upgrade the UI Module Firmware.
- Reconnect the serial cable to the InfoStation enclosure.
- Power ON the InfoStation enclosure.
- Exit and close ALL programs before installing the Firmware Loader onto your computer system.
- Click on the UI Firmware Update link (make sure you are downloading the correct update for your specific StorCase product!).
- Choose 'Save this program to disk' and click OK. Create a directory (e.g. C:\InfoFW) and save the file.
- Once download is complete, click 'Open'. An Installation Wizard should now take you through the Firmware Loader installation process.*
- Once the installation is complete, run InfoFW.exe. The InfoFW.exe window should now appear on your screen.
- Type 'Y' and hit ENTER to update the UI Firmware.

The InfoFW software is a DOS mode program under the Windows OS. It will not run under DOS.
Default serial port to download UI Firmware is com1. To change serial port to com2, use the following software switch:
To download a driver:
- Click on the appropriate driver link.
- Choose 'Save this program to disk' and click OK.
- Create a directory/folder (e.g. C:\NULLDRIVER) and save the file.
- When your system (Windows® 2000/XP) requests the missing driver, browse to the newly-created directory and select the requested driver.
